Business Development Manager Fleet & Commercial – Maritimes 20-50EW

Action Car and Truck Accessories is Canada’s only national automotive accessory Retailer, Distributor and Commercial Upfitter.  We have 37 locations across the Country and are growing every year….with us, you will find not a job, but a career.  We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager Fleet & Commercial for the Maritimes.  

Based in Moncton- the Fleet Business Development Manager is responsible for creating and managing customer accounts with Fleet Customers and Fleet Management Companies in the assigned business region. The Fleet Business Development Manager maintains strong customer relationships by problem solving, providing knowledge and assistance, and making regular visits to the customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • - Visit new and existing fleet customers at their place of business
  • - Provide quotes and other information to new and existing customers
  • - Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets for the assigned territory
  • - Ensure consistent, ongoing communication with the stores within your region
  • - Complete and submit individual sales activity reports into our online CRM database
  • - Attend and participate in trade shows
  • - Travel as required regularly within the Maritimes as well as other areas of the country on occasion

 

Qualifications

  • - Community College Diploma, preferably in sales or automotive
  • - Minimum of 5 years of sales experience along with extensive knowledge of and a passion for the automotive industry
  • - Experience in Sales of Commercial Equipment, Fleet Management and Fleet Upfitting an asset
  • - Excellent teamwork and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • - Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • - Highly organized
  • - Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills

We have a team of Inside Sales Professionals, we call them Accessory Specialist, that manage both incoming sales opportunities from across the country. Essential Job Duties:

  • - Provide the Right Customer Experience to all customers
  • - Provide aftermarket accessory recommendations to customers based on their needs
  • - Know your performance objectives. Know current performance vs. budget
  • - Generates revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products
  • - Processes orders – performs order entry (orders called in or received online), reviews orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data
  • - Look for opportunities for up-selling
  • - Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.
  • - Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • - Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
  • - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • - Must have the ability to work in a Call Center environment where frequent interruptions may occur.
  • - Must be able to work under pressure comfortably
  • - Bilingualism considered an asset
  • - Automotive aftermarket experience considered an asset
