Order Picker – Moncton 21-06EW

Action Car and Truck Accessories is Canada's only national car and truck accessory retailer and distributor to both the private and industry sectors.  With our head office in Moncton, New Brunswick, we have 38 stores locations across the country, as well as 3 distribution centers.  We are currently seeking a temporary Order Picker to join our Moncton team. This is a temporary position with the potential to lead to a permanent role.

The Order Picker is responsible to ensure product is moved in and out of the Distribution Centre accurately according to customer orders and shipment paperwork.

- Shipping/picking product
- Count/inspect shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain work orders
- Clean/maintain warehouse

- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift licence an asset
- Experience with shipping in a warehouse environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail

Essential Job Duties:

  • - Provide the Right Customer Experience to all customers
  • - Provide aftermarket accessory recommendations to customers based on their needs
  • - Know your performance objectives. Know current performance vs. budget
  • - Generates revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products
  • - Processes orders – performs order entry (orders called in or received online), reviews orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data
  • - Look for opportunities for up-selling
  • - Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.
  • - Must possess strong attention to detail
  • - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • - Must have the ability to work in a Call Center environment where frequent interruptions may occur.
  • - Must be able to work under pressure comfortably
  • - Bilingualism considered an asset
  • - Automotive aftermarket experience considered an asset
